The First Five Min of The Dark Knight

Wanted Review
Legion went to see the new movie Wanted and has submitted the following report. You may call it a movie review if you wish, but I like to think of it as his mandatory homework.

REVIEW: The Incredible Hulk
Legion is back with another great movie review, this time he's talking about The Incredible Hulk!

Hulk Smash Puny Doubts in the Integrity of the Franchise!

Ang Lee made a great Hulk. I’m well aware that at most one out of every hundred people with opinions and an internet connection will agree with me, but that’s fine. The other 99 can feel free to e-mail me or post a reply here and I’ll be happy to tell each one of you individually why you’re wrong. The only problem with Ang Lee’s Hulk is that it was actually a Bruce Banner movie and people didn’t seem to want that. Well, and that crap at the end with the weird tornado of nonsense that Nick Nolte seemed to disappear into. But those were the only two real problems.

Now, having said all that, I feel like a little bit of a traitor. Because this new Hulk blows the one 5 years ago straight out of the water. Marvel is on a role this year, and The Incredible Hulk solidifies what Iron Man hinted at: the fact that no studio knows how to make a Marvel movie like Marvel themselves. I don’t for an instance think that this Hulk movie will prove to have the same broad range appeal that Iron Man has, if for no other reason because it’s a movie that has no place for the same wit and tongue-in-cheek nature that made Iron Man feel like Wedding Crashers mixed into a superhero movie. However, pound for pound for what it is and what it’s supposed to be, this movie is every bit as good as Iron Man.

REVIEW: The Happening
Our resident movie freak... er... enthusiast, Legion, got to see The Happening last night. Here's his take on the new film:

M. Night Shyamalan’s Best Film Since Signs, but is that Actually Impressive?

M. Night Shyamalan is back with his with his unique and particular breed of suspense thriller. But this time it seems that everyone is seeing dead people. Not spirits or anything, just bodies strewn everywhere as an interesting yet vicious plague spreads throughout the north eastern United States. Once struck, victims first lose their ability to speak, at least rationally. Then, temporary paralysis takes over. But it doesn’t last long, as soon your body is disposing of itself in the most effective (and usually brutal) manner it can think of. But is this disease a carefully planned terrorist attack? Is it a government experiment gone wrong? Or is it simply a defense mechanism that has been kicked into place because Gaea has finally gotten sick of our bull$#!^?

Review: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
A fun, yet bizarre Indy flick.
